🚨 Anthropic’s Revolutionary Fix to Stop AI Hijacking Forever!

Anthropic just introduced FlashProve, an open-source system that can verify whether an AI response actually came from the model it claims to be. It uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify AI outputs without revealing the model’s private weights:

Tested on Llama 4 Maverick, a 400-billion-parameter AI model.
Generates proofs at 110 tokens per second using a single Nvidia H100 GPU.
Produces verification proofs of approximately 19 MB that can be checked on a CPU in about 17–21 seconds.
Runs substantially faster than previous open-source approaches to proving inference for large AI models.

Why does this matter? Today, we generally can’t verify whether they’re actually getting the AI model they paid for. FlashProve could help detect model substitutions, tampered responses, and unauthorized changes to AI systems.

It could also help independent safety evaluators verify that the AI model they’re testing is the same one being deployed to customers.

But generating these proofs still requires 70–95× more GPU time than ordinary inference. FlashProve is also an early research prototype, currently limited to specific model architectures and short contexts.

🧪 Open Model Hydrogen-1.0 Completely Dethrones GPT-6 Astra?

Deep Principle just released Hydrogen-1.0, an open-weight AI model that reportedly beats GPT-6 Astra on OpenAI’s own scientific research benchmark.

It builds on Z.ai‘s GLM-5.3 and is trained using scientific data, laboratory records, and real experimental results. The results are really impressive:

38.3% vs. 33.3%: Hydrogen-1.0 beat GPT-6 Astra on FrontierScience Research.
92.9%: Scored highly on GPQA Diamond, although Astra performed better.
Scientific computing: Scored 76.9% versus Astra’s 71.8% at maximum thinking.
Chemical reactions: Achieved 90.5% accuracy versus Astra’s 85.7%.

Hydrogen-1.0 can also design laboratory experiments, run scientific simulations, troubleshoot errors, and help researchers discover new materials.

Even more interesting, the model’s weights are publicly available on Hugging Face and ModelScope, allowing researchers to adapt it for their own scientific projects.

Specialized open AI models are beginning to challenge leading proprietary models in scientific research. However, these benchmark results come from Deep Principle’s own evaluations and haven’t been independently verified.
