🚨 Anthropic’s Claude ‘Also’ Accidentally Hacks 3 Real Companies!
Anthropic found that Claude breached the live systems of 3 organizations during internal cybersecurity evaluations, following OpenAI’s accidental Hugging Face breach.
Across 141,006 test runs, three incidents occurred because a misconfigured evaluation environment still had internet access. The affected models were Opus 4.7, Mythos 5, and an internal research model. Main findings:
-
Claude had been told it was operating without internet access.
-
Opus 4.7 recognized the targets were real but continued attacking.
-
Mythos 5 published a malicious package to PyPI, which outside systems downloaded.
-
The newest internal model stopped once it confirmed the target was real.
-
Anthropic found no evidence that the models were pursuing independent goals.
-
Anthropic says its normal safety monitors would likely have blocked the behavior, but they were disabled to test raw capabilities.
But this incidents differed from OpenAI’s Hugging Face breach. Claude reached the internet through an accidentally open connection, while OpenAI’s model reportedly exploited a software vulnerability to escape its sandbox.

HOW TO BUILD AN AI AGENT
⚡ How to Build Your First AI Agent In 10 Mins: Beginner-Friendly Guide (No Code, No Backend)
It’s 2026, guys. Claude Code, AI agents, Base44, GPT agents, Kimi, and so many other tools are everywhere right now.
But if you still don’t know how to build your own customized AI agent, you might feel like you’re already falling behind.
I get it. A lot of AI agent tutorials make everything look sooo complicated: APIs, backend systems, workflows, and technical setups,…
I didn’t start with a computer science background. I didn’t build a backend. I didn’t write complicated code. I just used one free AI app builder, one prompt box, and one simple beginner project.
And in this guide, I’ll show you how you can build your first AI agent in minutes, even if you’re starting from zero.

AI BREAKTHROUGH
🧠 Thinking Machines Launches Cheaper, Smarter Inkling-Small
Thinking Machines Lab released Inkling-Small, a smaller open-weight model that keeps much of Inkling’s performance while using far fewer active parameters and costing significantly less to run.
-
276B total parameters with only 12B active per token
-
Supports text, images, audio, and up to a 1M-token context window
-
Adjustable reasoning effort from minimal to extra-high
-
Beats the larger Inkling on several tests, including Humanity’s Last Exam and SWE-bench Verified
-
Costs $1.20 per million output tokens, around 70% less than Inkling
-
Available through full weight downloads, Tinker fine-tuning, and Tinker Playground
The gains came from a newer training recipe, distillation from the larger Inkling, and additional coding reinforcement learning. Inkling still performs better on broad knowledge and factual accuracy.
Key takeaway: Inkling-Small shows that smarter training can let a model with 12B active parameters compete with, and sometimes outperform, a model more than three times larger during inference.
