AI INSIGHTS
🚀 Claude Sonnet 5: Near-Opus Intelligence at a Fraction of the Cost
Anthropic officially released Claude Sonnet 5, billed as their “most agentic Sonnet model to date,” it aims to deliver top-tier intelligence for coding and everyday professional work at a massive scale.
-
Lower cost: $2/M input tokens and $10/M output tokens through August 31, after which pricing increases to $3/M input and $15/M output
-
Performance: it approaches Claude Opus 4.8 on many tasks, and even edges it out on some knowledge-work benchmarks while costing much less.
-
Sonnet 5 natively runs with “adaptive thinking” turned on by default. So if it’s not necessary, you can turn it off.
-
It results in about 30% more tokens for the same text compared to previous versions. It also introduces real-time cybersecurity safeguards that cleanly refuse high-risk, malicious requests without throwing standard errors.
If you are building multi-step software engineering workflows, automated data auditing, or customer-facing agents, Sonnet 5 is positioned to be the new reliable backbone. It allows teams to automate complex desktop and browser tasks that previously required larger, cost-prohibitive models, making true AI automation much more economically viable.

6 VALUABLE AI SKILLS IN 2026 & …
🚀 6 AI Skills That Matter More Than “Learn AI” in 2026 (And How to Start Immediately)
“Learn AI” is the worst advice I would give you in 2026. In around 5 years, or maybe even less, AI will be much more powerful than it is right now.
So what does “learn AI” even mean then? AI is a tool. What you need to learn is how to use that tool to create real value, from running agents to shipping products.
Every single one of these 6 hand-picked AI skills gets more valuable as AI gets better in the next few years. So what are they? Check the table below:
|
AI Skill |
Focus |
|---|---|
|
Running AI agents and personal models |
Designing an AI worker with a clear goal, tools, and permissions |
|
Building distribution |
Knowing where your customers pay attention and how they talk |
|
Robotics and sourcing |
Taking AI off the screen and into real hardware |
|
Curation |
Filtering information and explaining it fast for others |
|
Becoming a builder-distributor |
Building and selling in the same loop, not as separate steps |
|
Building real-life community |
Creating a place people keep coming back to, not just once |
I’ll show you each skill in the table above, with the first practice exercise for each one.

AI BREAKTHROUGH
🧠 Meta’s Non-Invasive BCI Project Decodes Brain Scans Into Full Sentences
Meta introduced version 2 of its Brain2Qwerty system, a non-invasive brain-scanning technology that can decode full words and sentences directly from brain activity:
-
9 volunteers spent 10 hours inside a non-invasive brain scanner, typing text while the system mapped their neural responses. This intensive tracking produced a dataset of nearly 22,000 completed sentences.
-
The system uses 2 AI models. The 1st model analyzes raw brain signals as a person types, a 2nd one layer adds semantic meaning to those signals.
-
Version 2 achieved an average word accuracy rate of 61%, with the highest-performing volunteer hitting 78%. For context, competing non-invasive systems typically peak at around 8% accuracy.
Most high-accuracy brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) currently rely on surgical implants, which presents a significant barrier to widespread everyday use. This level of performance shifts the landscape for accessible communication tools.
Additionally, Meta has open-sourced the datasets and the code for both versions of the system, allowing outside development teams to openly build upon and test the framework.
