Claude may be doing more thinking than it shows. Anthropic found a hidden J-Space where ideas move silently before the final answer appears. Slightly wild, honestly.

🔍 Anthropic Discovers a Hidden Workspace for Silent AI Reasoning
Anthropic just identified a hidden internal workspace where Claude holds and manipulates ideas without actually putting them into words.
-
Meet “J-Space”, this is a separate internal area where Claude can plan strategies and compute concepts. This happens completely independent of the standard “chain of thought” reasoning it shares with users.
-
Similar to how humans can think about one thing while doing another, Claude can multitask its focus. In one test, Claude was instructed to think about the Golden Gate Bridge while copying an entirely unrelated sentence. While it successfully copied the text, researchers could see its J-Space actively processing concepts like “bridge” and “California” in the background.
While Anthropic uses the word “conscious” over 200 times, the company stops short of claiming the model actually feels or experiences anything.
However, the findings do show a surprisingly human-like division between deliberate, active reasoning and the automatic computation running beneath the surface.
As AI systems become more complex, understanding not just what they are generating, but what they are quietly processing in the background, is going to be a critical piece of keeping these systems safe.

Summer’s here. Larry handles calls, jobs, and memberships automatically.
Air Design used to spend hours every day manually calling their 600 members to schedule seasonal tune-ups.
They turned on Podium’s AI Membership Coordinator. It contacted 471 members, booked 187 jobs, and generated $24,000 in revenue.
Across home services, the story repeats.
Magnolia Plumbing cut invoice-to-payment time to 6 minutes and saved 60 hours of admin work every month.
This is what Podium’s AI Operating System does: phones answered, jobs booked, invoices collected — automatically, without adding headcount.
If your schedule isn’t packed this summer, it can be.

🧠 Build Your Ultimate Second Brain that Actually Works with Fable 5. Before It’s Too Late (Full Guide)
Every insight, every organized idea, and every automated task can be captured before access disappears. Turn its hidden potential into your ultimate AI assistant.
Fable 5 was restored globally on July 1. As of July 7, today, the free 50% weekly usage window will end (in a few hours) → That is where a Fable 5 second brain starts to matter.
Don’t waste it on throwaway prompts when Fable 5 can build a second brain that keeps helping Claude Code later.
Once usage credits kick in, you’ll regret using this window for quick answers instead of giving Claude Code a system for your files, prompts, routines, memory, and skills.
→ In this guide, I’ll show you how to build one quickly inside Claude Code, starting with a clean structure, a simple INDEX.md, real retrieval tests, and a quick audit before you trust the system.

AI BREAKTHROUGH
🛡️ Fighting Fire with Fire: Reddit is Using LLMs to Crush LLMs
To fix a problem largely accelerated by AI, Reddit is officially turning to AI to clean it up. While social platforms have used automated spam filters for years, Reddit recently deployed customized AI tools to handle this modern wave of junk content.
-
The platform is currently blocking 23 million spam views and catching about 25,000 new spam posts and comments every single day.
-
Reddit notes that these LLMs are specifically catching “highly subtle, coordinated patterns of fake behavior” and artificial hype that their older security systems were completely missing.
-
From January to March, the company claims it successfully reduced overall user exposure to spam by 20% compared to the previous three months.
While YouTube, Meta, and Instagram are currently focusing on getting users to disclose AI-generated content, and TikTok is even testing toggles to let users control how much AI content they see, Reddit is directly deploying LLMs as a backend shield.
However, platform experts continue to emphasize one critical reality check: to actually be effective, this kind of automated moderation still has to be paired with human oversight.
